oh word Ian i missed the part when u explain who the hell you are to say whats “good” or “bad” “modern art” which isnt even the proper description of these works. ignorance is bliss, isnt it?

    @ Ian

I wouldn’t classify this as “Modern art”…. Modernism has very much ended in the mid 20th century and I think we are well into the movement of post modernity which is a movement of no particular set style… but then again I think this is just graphic design which in recent years has pretty much fused with what we consider to be art…

    Shit comment Ian.
The amount of middle class tourists clamouring over themselves to take a photo of a painting is not a measure of what good art is.

It’s ok not to like modern art. It’s not ok to pretend like you’ve got some greater insight than anyone else, particularly when the best you can come up with is a comparison to two of the most obvious artists in history.

But, if this is not making sense to you Ian, feel free to roll back to the good old days, endulge in your bona 4 mona, and drink from the only new and worthy addition to art since da Vinci’s last canvas:

    Ah yes, bad modern art.

I wonder whether people will be clamouring over themselves to view this sort of work in art galleries in a century like we do the Mona Lisa, or any Monet?
