wow you guys are stupid. i don’t throw that term around loosely. if these cost 215 and were limited to 50 pairs you guys would be jizzin’ yourselves and willing to blow the salesmen at your local sneaker shop for a pair. damn kanye, where have we seen that one before? not saying that these are as dope as the yeezy’s but some are hot(the orange and purple joints) and others not so much. a dope shoe is a dope shoe is a dope shoe. end of story. i like music, don’t care for much for what’s new out here but that “swag surfin” is dope to me. i say that to say if a shoe is dope to me, i don’t care who made it or where it sells at, i will cop. yes nike makes the majority of dope shoes out there but that won’t keep me from coppin these.

Congratulations to Jeff Staple for collaborating with the once upon a time industry player, Airwalk. Looking through the collection I am thinking about the influence Jeff has on me. It would seriously consider purchasing a couple of these shoes.

Then, I wonder about the motive STPL designs has behind the collaboration with Airwalk. It makes sense when you have the Reed Space/Annex which is specifically for those who do not care about the latest styles, but want to wear a respected brand. This is an opportunity to give Airwalk a helping hand and provide some sick styles for those little ones running around in the Lower East Side with a little less than most of you collectors.

It’s design for the other 90%.

HAHAHA! Do you know how stupid you all sound when you call this shit sell out because they don’t cost as much as other shoes? What a bunch of tools. We need to blow $200 on a pair to be part of the ‘cool kids’, right? Who cares where it is sold, some of em are dope, some not so much… Stop tryin’ to be fashion police shoe-hipster wannabees. Don’t like em, don’t wear em, simple as that. You don’t got the right to judge them though, and if you pretend you do, thats some high school shit right there.

Goodonya Jeff, Some of these are tight.

theres some solid stuff in there. lets all fuckin hate on payless airwalks because people who cant afford 70+$ skate shoes dont deserve anything decent right? fuck off you pricks – I’d take them black leather or brown joints over any 6.0 or Vans mallstore shoes. if anyone wants to talk about imitation skate shoes they should look at every other fuckin brand – everythings either hi-top moonboots or lowprofile vulcs…its how the business works

The brown and black kits are dope. And Airwalk Shmairwalk I’m willing to be that you probably won’t be able to find these in every Payless, just like I can’t find another pair of the desert boots they did with the Beastie Boys.

How much did PAYLESS pay to have this on the blog. I know HB isn’t showing all the collections at PAYLESS now are they? If so i have some $12 Cabbage Patch velcro joints i want to preview. JEFF STAPLE is done!

good job airwalk on copying other brands’ styles…… and don’t they sell airwalks at payless shoes for like $10?

  14. Posted by: Aj on July 22, 2009 at 9:56 pm

Payless? Airwalk is a joke these days.

  15. Posted by: Rondolf & Mortimer on July 22, 2009 at 9:28 pm

airwalk was dope way back when, this is so sad.

lol i didnt know exclusive and airwalk could ever be used in the same sentence.

oh wait, its because airwalk licensed their name to payless when they decided to make a full range of imitation shoes instead of decent skate shoes
