During the recent Asia tour by Nike-sponsored basketball superstar Kobe Bryant, a familiar Nike associated artist and customizer in SBTG presented Kobe Bryant with an exclusive pair of “Varsity Bones” Dunk Highs inspired by the theme of “What If”. The shoes were modeled after Bryant’s potential attendance at NCAA Division 1 school Duke with the relevant colorways seen alongside a special lasered wooden box with the Kobe Bryant logo. While much of SBTG’s work pertains to custom shoes, the man himself has seen himself at the center of his very own Nike SB collaboration a few years back.

    wow, what if kobe had gone to duke. i honestly think that is what seperated him from mj. had kobe gone to duke i think he would have gotten more of the discipline and sharpened his fundamentals a bit. all he needed was 2 years. but then again we wouldn’t have had that blowout of a draft in 96 either. too bad ray and kobe are the only ones still doing it big from that graduating class. allen who? starbury what? nash can’t run and gun forever and is far from a pistol pete or john stockton.
