i work at a red wing shoe store in my area, and these shoes are hella expensive, the boat shoes are $179.99 retail, and the desert boots are $229.99 retail, but i get them for a lot cheaper lol

my grandpa used to wear these and yours prob did too. the reason they bought them is because they wanted something tough that was usa made. guess what most aren’t usa made anymore. they’ve taken away from their “classic” by doing this. yeah all these shoes look nice, but don’t support this bullshit, save yourself some money and embarrassment and buy some vintage ones(they’ll prob still last longer!), this prob wont save you time however.
or shit ask your dad or grandpa for his old ones.

Red Wing shoes are quality, but these types of shoes, with these exact designs, can be found at any shopping mall today. I don’t get it. If you think these are gorgeous, go to the mall and just buy something similar tomorrow.
