Nike Sportswear Air Maxim 1 Video

by Eugene Kan, July 3, 2009

While Nike Sportswear is quite accustomed to revamping and modernizing old classics, few models are receiving as strong of a push as their new Air Maxim 1. Based off the obvious in the iconic Air Max 1, this video gives a visual run-down of the new updated changes. The most notable and visually apparent change comes in the form of the Flywire-integrated upper. Other weight-saving changes include a Phylon midsole, reduced outsole profile, revamped Air Max cushioning and finally a sheer Transpan fabric on the toebox for breathability. With all these new updates, the Air Maxim 1 looks to have all the makings of a well-equipped running shoe in 2009.
