Nike SB Zoom Paul Rodriguez (P-Rod) III Black/Red
by Eugene Kan, July 30, 2009

With the latest incarnation of Paul Rodriguez’s signature third generation shoe hitting retailers, here’s an up close and personal viewing of the black/red version which will hit retailers for the fall season. The black/red upper features some subtle traits that define the shoe such as the safari pattern on the front and heel of the shoe. The outsole features a translucent part which exposes the midfoot shank. A premium white Nike SB box and drawstring dustbag came with this particular pair as it was sold at the Maloof Cup.

Another great and rare find for low top fans.
i would wear these if I was a double amputee…and blind, with no taste in footwear.
I wish these weren’t lowtops, but holy other than that they’re AMAZING.
ehh they’re aight just that they would look better as a mid-top…
the stitched part is ill. this shoe is off the fucking chain.
y’all sound like a bunch of crybabies.
baaaaadaaaassss
These look better than the white ones. The Box is clean but I’m still undecided on the 3.
I dont know, i like my prod2’s shape better, this looks flatter and floppy almost and i dont like those 3 red lace holes at the top and bottom
I won a pair of these in a raffle last weekend as a part of KIXPO in Dallas. I feel this shoe is drastically inferior to the P.Rod 2 on an aesthetic level (I don’t skate now so I can’t comment on its functionality). First, the safari print is barely visible, unlike the cement/elephant print that defined certain earlier models. While I like the lace loops, what really bothers me are the small, stitched rectangles on the sides and rear of the shoe. These may have been intended as accents, but they break up the flow of the shoe, adding a degree of chunkiness to it. This seems like a small detail, but these stichings really jump off the shoe in person. Compared to the 2 or the better Dunk Sb’s, this shoe is just boring.
