In commemoration of the 40th Anniversary of Apollo 11’s first lunar landing, which takes place on Jul 20th, Louis Vuitton has designed a custom-made “Malle Mars” trunk. The robotic, space age-looking piece opens in multiple places, unveiling a variety of compartments and drawers, fully equipped to carry various essential items.

The trunk will be on display this coming Monday, at the Rose Center for Earth and Space at the American Museum of Natural History, being exhibited with other NASA memorabilia. History-making astronauts Buzz Aldrin, Jim Lovell and Sally Ride will be in attendance along with Louis Vuitton North America president and chief executive officer Daniel Lalonde.

Um, really? Who outside the Kink.com office staff would want this thing? Or at least, would want anyone to SEE it!

Though if you are romantically involved with that Gundam statue in Tokyo It could probably spice things up!!
