Known for his colorful and graphic interpretations of pop icons such as Mr. T in conjunction with ample amounts of cartoon inspiration, perennial Archive Magazine Top 200 Illustrator and artist Jasper Wong recently transfered his creativity onto the medium of an iPhone case with REBEL SCHOLAR. The case features an interesting transparent design which allows lights through the outlines of the characters. Each case comes package with a series of stickers which include El Lucha Gold, Unicorn Pirate Silver, Toasty Bandit Bruiser, Chairman Wow Blue, and Pitiful Fool Pink.     Those other cases on Rebel Scholar are wack as all heck. The Rebel Scholar folk are idiots putting fly stuff next to pieces of crap. Why is Jasper even working with that brand? He is carrying it on his shoulders…he should be doing stuff with the big boys that show his rad designs more respect.

    that gold ore of a looking thing makes me want to get an iPhone! great caricatures that really remind me of Song Hai Zeng’s works when i saw his exhibitions in the 798 art gallery in beijing last year! of course, Jasper Wong uses linear design in a much more minimalistic way but combined with multiple caricatures, the final piece has a nice complexity to it! great stuff!

    Jasper’s work is dope! I would so cop this case! The other cases at Rebel Scholar suck royal buttocks though. The other ones don’t hold a candle to Jasper’s…it shouldn’t even be on the same site or even the same planet.
