While the majority of messenger bags are often created of durable, near in-destructible woven nylons, FilMelange takes a different approach. Known for their organic loopwheeled cotton, FilMelange teams up with Berlin-based bag makers Bagjack on a series of cotton messenger bags. Despite the heather gray cotton exterior, the bags are still fully waterproof thanks to the tarp lining. Two different models include the Nihon (black) and the Jack (white). Available now at Hynm’s.

    Still cotton.
    Still tearable, I don’t believe these are as durable as a majority of the ballistic nylon or cordura bags that are currently on the market. Waterproof lining, but once it tears through the cotton, so begins the battery upon the tarp.
    Seems this bag is for those that want to baby their bag, and gentle.
