the video was terrible the first dialogue sequence was crap but the second one was funnier, and the whole basketball concept could have been done better, the video could have gone in a completely different direction and it would have been good but this was just sparkly crap with half naked women

Yes, the concept is a tad bit odd, but I give Ye props for actually coming up with a concept and sticking to it. At least this video was not filmed in a damn club or on some street corner. Most rap videos nowadays copy each other to the point where variety becomes nonexistent. Also, the video is comical and has a nice vibe to it.

This kid may still be on a commercial hip hop tip, but he actually has some lyrcal skills to bring to the game. To me, Drake is just the beginning of a hip hop renaissance that will take the genre out of it’s current state of constant bullshit.
Drake may be the most commercial rapper from XXL’s class of 2009, but at least he still has respect for the game. Right now he’s opening doors for people like Kid Cudi, Wale, Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa.

From the jump, I didn’t expect a great video for this song. Drake wasn’t signed, and I have heard that it is really expensive and tough to make a video without a label financing it. Through all that, I still think they could have done better with this. I’m sure there is some subliminal message in here, but personally I don’t watch videos to figure out a mystery. If I’m in medical school and don’t get the jist of the message, then I don’t think it is as clear as it was suppose to be. Ladies were looking great, but I think the video could have taken a different approach.
P.S. If you really think Drake is the worst rapper, why would you even check out the video. Clown business.
