Dividing his time throughout a number of different gigs ranging from fashion to running a music label, the clothing line from Steve Aoki and their upcoming 2009 fall/winter releases are previewed here. His brand Dim Mak features a series of t-shirts featuring black and white outlines and come complete with a pack of fabric markers which essentially give you the chance to DIY the colors to your liking.

I think its interesting idea, all though I would like to see them have more then just this.

save money on the actuall production of the shirts yes, but the company supplies the fabric pens and obviously had to buy them somewhere. So would it really cost that much less to put three or four pens with the shirt or just print the colors on. I dont think this company is doing this to save money, i think the company is doing this to give the consumer a certain amount of creative control over the shirt design.

That’s one way to save money on production, just make the customer color it in. Lame. Dim Mak was cool for half a summer, when CMYK and All-over prints still ruled. Give it up.
