While it seems like Converse’s basketball program is in a bit of disarray following the departure of all-star Dwayne Wade to the affiliated Jordan Brand, the Converse Skateboarding line looks to hold a great deal of potential. While Nike SB has apparently stopped its vulcanized offerings at the Janoski signature, Converse will fully embrace the archaic skate-favorite style. A bit of Chuck Taylor All Star is all but expected but also in the line-up are other clean, streamlined products. Look for these at select Converse Skateboarding retailers.

you guys do know that converse is owned by nike? thats how the whole converse skate shit came about. yes they do need to keep it simple. get rid of the zebra, elephant, concrete whatever you want to call it print shit. bring them mids back that were out for a second like a year and a half ago when the converse skate shit started.

Elephant print on Converses now?!? I just totally lost all faith in Converse’s skateboarding venture. And what’s with the Dunk x AF1 Mid – up top? They just couldn’t keep it simple, could they? —cheers//dom
