comme des garcons have really gone down the drain – this is a classic example of just how bad they are now – i started wearing comme in 1988 (when there was just homme and homme plus, before shirt, junya, etc) – now approach with extreme caution – it is nothing like what it used to be – play & the fred perry stuff are a joke – i would say that a lot of people who were into comme when they were a properly avant garde and cutting edge brand (in the 80′s and early 90′s), before they sold out would have the same feeling as i do – they have over-extended themselves far too much – the style of what they are now coming out with shows just how bad it all is (worst i can think of is the collection of all the gold stuff – ideal if you want to look like gary glitter, i don’t) – rei kawakubo has stuffed it – she should have retired!

I like what Chris said, why are these shirts so overpriced? I mean like, if you want to buy it I’m not stopping you, just it seems that more and more often I’m seeing a less than stellar output from these labels now. I mean it looks like they didn’t put much effort into the design…

Play in japan are only 50$ a pop. Very reasonable. Getting them outside of japan would cost a pretty penny.

First: This isn’t Comme de garcons, its PLAY, which is a separate line from CDG’s mainline.

Second: PLAY is a line of basics with minimal design. So every season you are going to get pretty much the same thing, that is the point of the line.

Jack Qusto need to learn how to use words properly. Lol I mean you are using “were” when you should be using where*.

However, the shirt is lack luster, creativity and anything artistic. If you had the 1st season why buy this season? Also I could purchase so much more for a the price of this poorly executed shirt.

    I love CDG though ;-)

hmmm…. not to be lame but this design doesn’t require much effort…. like i don’t understand why we as human beings pay what like ninety dollars for a t-shirt (i am guilty of it too) but seriously these designers now days could throw a line with a circle on a blank tee and people would drop like 200 300 for it…. I mean i love the artist for expressing their visions I respect what they are doing and i respect the arts to the tenth…. but come on clothing is getting pretty ridiculous now…. I mean i think a reasonable price for this shirt would be 30 to 20 or maybe even 45 but to charge people a arm and a leg for this?? you know what i would drop a fortune on? a t-shirt woven in the most comfortable fabrics in the world made with stain repellents and non fade-able, with i dunno a murakami design on it, or junya watanabe design.
i dunno not hating just saying
