Quickly becoming more of an avant-garde streetwear label of sorts, BBC/Ice Cream showcase some of their new looks via THE NEW ORDER Magazine. The looks steer clear of their early graphic t-shirts/denim beginnings to two more full-fledged clothing labels, each adding a slew of different inspirations within countless uses of wild, although more sophisticated, design methods.

So dope — get with fashion, dumbies. 10 years ago if you would’ve told someone that tight jeans were cool you would’ve been called whack.

i hope pharrell doesn’t dress like that in real life. he looks like a rich crackhead. i don’t know what the hell has gotten into him but i hope he makes his target audience happy.

  8. Posted by: gleb on July 12, 2009 at 5:29 pm

I wouldnt wear that horserace print, but besides that, i dont see what yall haters are about, even the shoes are dope imo. Dead tiger is HOT FIYAAHHHH.

It might be ugly but if you do these designs in limited runs theres where the money is at.

  10. Posted by: jse on July 11, 2009 at 11:12 pm

anyone who actually thinks this shit looks cool is retarded. i can’t wait til people buy this shit, take it home, look at themselves in the mirror while wearing it, and realize they just wasted a grip!… or better yet, til i see some clown walking down the block wearing it. are y’all on drugs? take the BBC label off of it and there’s no way anyone would spend anywhere near the price this garbage will cost.. this line is wack!.. straight booty. word to mother!!

You can’t expect everything to be 100% to your taste.

There are some pieces I agree with and some pieces that I don’t.

    The jackets are cool though

I say “Why Not”. I think Pharrell is doing the right thing. If you stick to one style for so long then everything gets old. Many artist look to expand creativity in order to bring out the potential in their works. Are the clothes overpriced? “People still buy the clothes” What about the design? “The appeal is tasteful”. BBC/Ice Cream is not a favorite, but they are still in business. Kudos to the Pharrell Team.

  21. Posted by: gotthatgood.com on July 11, 2009 at 12:56 am

all the time Pharell spends around high fashion is starting to translate into his own line. its always good to branch out from just graphic tees. wouldnt catch me in that matching cowboy number tho.

  22. Posted by: panda666 on July 10, 2009 at 11:34 pm

er…OK,…maybe they are very Billionaire style, but not the street style i like…so i pass///

  23. Posted by: excelence on July 10, 2009 at 11:21 pm

hahaha, obviously not made for any of you. good for me

  24. Posted by: deli on July 10, 2009 at 10:59 pm

    is the tiger included?

  25. Posted by: G Kent on July 10, 2009 at 10:32 pm

I don’t understand famous people like Pharell, yes we can all agree that his music is dope and he’s very successful at what he does but to me it seems that some rappers have lost their way. I say this because they grow up in the hood in sub-standard living and they make their way up in the world and seem to forget their past. They make clothing lines hat are extremely overpriced, clothing lines that 5 or 10 years ago they themselves couldn’t have afforded it…what does that say to kids who look up to them…

  26. Posted by: Almaisa Botts on July 10, 2009 at 9:51 pm

haha these comments are an indication that the audience has more creative potential than this brand..this is good too see…if this is the case then we should see some great brands arise from this recession

  27. Posted by: ERRL FLNN on July 10, 2009 at 9:35 pm

Not into the shoes at all, although the dog jumper is nice.

Pharrell is trying to emulate B Bixby gear by the look of most of that.

Fair play for trying to push it forward.

  28. Posted by: northwest scholar on July 10, 2009 at 9:22 pm

when you look at the first comments you notice that people do wut they always do any time they see BBC or icecream in the headline, and thats just hate on it. Then people actually look at it and what pharrell is tryin to do and show some respect. Stop hatin on something cuz thats wut everyone else does. your no better than a hypebeast

  29. Posted by: kobst on July 10, 2009 at 9:01 pm

    tiger shoal is dope.

  30. Posted by: EL-A1986 on July 10, 2009 at 8:33 pm

  31. Posted by: ... on July 10, 2009 at 7:46 pm

  34. Posted by: tman916 on July 10, 2009 at 6:14 pm

i’m def. coppin that tiger rug that dudes wearin!

  35. Posted by: DirtyDooRagz on July 10, 2009 at 6:02 pm

But you have to applaud Pharrell’s approach, He’s evolving his brand Exponentially. I mean shit he started off with fuckin’ tee shirts. Being creative is the only way you find your nich. I think the sweater and peacoat are nicely done. Congrats on growth Pharrell !

  36. Posted by: LouisV on July 10, 2009 at 5:59 pm

I don’t know with this one. It would seem they are trying to grow up their style… it looks quite good tbh… moving towards high fashion. But the shoes look kinda stupid imo

  42. Posted by: fatSLIMS on July 10, 2009 at 3:38 pm

They’re trying too hard to be trend hoppers instead of just being what they are, an overpriced streetwear brand
