Wale feat. Lady Gaga – Chillin (Video)

Our friend Wale marks his official video release today for “Chillin” which features Lady Gaga. The video was directed by the Grammy nominated Chris Robinson, and it features a compilation of clips from his native city, D.C. As you watch, you’ll notice he’s doing just as the song title suggest, “Chillin” Check it out.

    lady gaga and m.i.a are similar-BUT they are also very different when you take a look at their work respectively. don’t be hatin on gaga, because if anything she is going to be the final push over the edge of massive exposure for wale (in a sense that she will appeal to lots of people who probably never otherwise would have given him a chance).

    wale is sick, he’s reppin his area, props to the DMV shoutout and the likes. Leave the comparisons to NY and LA between NY and LA! DC has it’s own thing going on.

    this is the definition of a cross-over video. Ive actually met Wale in person and my home boi DJ (Fusion band) and all the D.C. homies vouched for him so I checked him out at Standard in ATL and went to the show at The Lofts off PeachTree. i gotta say he reps for what D.C. cool is, which isnt NY or LA, but they got they’re own thing… like “half-time”, whatever that means… and they’re own everything… I respect authentic home grown flavor, so keep chillin… and “A Vacation From Ourselves” off “Mixtape About Nothing” is my airplane music alongside “Rediscover Me”

    Why do people get hyped over MC’s wearing certain brands? Sometimes it seems like people dont even listen to the music or lyrics anymore…just worried about who is wearing what and how they are wearing it. That is something that a woman does…remember that.

    Wale has figured it out. Gotta make a party song eventually. He said it on his twitter page this is the party/invite song to the album. We all knw wale album won’t sound like this! Can’t wait for the back to the feature mixtape next week! The family affair joint he dropped today is sick!
