One of the best mashup projects to come out this year is a collaborative effort between DJ AM and Travis Barker. Recently, the two joined forces and put together this mixtape which highlights some exclusive mashups they performed at the annual Coachella music event in California. One of the featured tracks from “Fix Your Face Vol. 2″ is this mashup with Rage Against the Machine’s “Killing in the Name,” Fatman Scoop’s “Put Your Hands in the Air” and Jay-Z’s “Public Service Annoucement.” Music blending at it’s best, check it out.

    the techno version of killing in the name of is old, and its by Mr. Oizo, not Sebastian as mentioned above. oizo is also from ed banger label, which is what might have confused the chap up top.

    At least give credit where its due.

    other than that, this song is a shiny turd. i dont see why travis barker (i AM a fan of his, not just blind hater) or DJAM would be hyping this song or expecting any props on this. it sounds EXACTLY like the orginal! so, what? he played drums along side a song that was written with a drummer in mind? are you kidding me? fucking ridic.

    Killing it….again and again. I am not surprised. Bigger and better….you were made for music and you and DJ AM are an incredible pair, don’t think it could have worked with anyone else ;)

    FYI – The Rage Against the Machine audio is from another remix of “Killing in the Name of” by SebastiAn, a French DJ on the Ed Banger Label…def check him out! So its really a mashup of a remix…
