Nike Sportswear Air Force 1 Premium “Jones Beach”

Nike Sportswear recently paid tribute to New York’s Jones Beach with this Air Force 1 Premium Quickstrike. The shoe features a gray upper with a printed design on the back. Along the heels are the coordinates of Jones Beach as well as having a special tongue tag. Other touches can be seen through the translucent midsole. Only a handful of retailers got this release so hit up the good people at Extra Butter for your pair.

Yep, they are nice sneakers but Nike is playing people for a sucker by saying they’re a ‘limited edition’, because they know people will be searching for them all over, but only be able to find them in a few places. I just can’t see paying $120 (or more) for sneakers done by sweat shop workers, that probably only cost $25 dollars. Then again, they know people are crazy enough to pay the $120 even in this economy, so guess they could care less.
