A few months back, we did an interview with legendary tennis player, Stan Smith, while he stopped in Hong Kong to promote the 60th anniversary of adidas. Here’s yet another interview from the folks at sneakers.fr during his stay in France.

    How is this possible?? Stan Smith was approached by Adidas in 1971 to endorse the “Stan Smith” shoe model. There is no way that this is the 60th anniversary of the model… The guy is only 63 years old.

    Wow! JOEY TPA….I played a little promo with Stan Smith and won an ALUMINUM tennis racquet (the hot thing at the time), back in 1971 at teh Forest Hills tennis Stadium, now defunct and gone. Stan was a GREAT guy, let me return to him 11 times letting a little kid dream big and win a new racquet..
