After a successful launch of the “Blue Lobster” that began at Concepts, the follow-up to last year’s original collaboration Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low continues on with the upcoming general release. Unlike the Concepts special edition, the shoe will come devoid of any special touches such as packaging and extras created for the prior release. The shoe has original begun to hit select retailers including Atlas.

    It has already been said,

    “It’s not a general release. It’s a quickstrike.”

  6. Posted by:Jess on July 1, 2009 at 2:07 pm

Not a real skate shop…SB never was about skating. Just selling to fashion victims. Case in Point

  7. Posted by:allen on July 1, 2009 at 10:58 am

These were not General Release. I don’t know why the headline for these says that.

The came in a very limited run to Quickstrike account stores. Most of them besides the big ones in the City only got one FSR.

And don’t hate either cause these are gorgeous. And yea, anyone can throw the neon laces on. I did it too, but personally I think the black, navy, or even baby blue look better.

i have both the red and blue and the red definately look better.. i think most of the people who didnt get the red’s are saying the blue look better cuz theyre bitter they didnt get them the first time lol… but they are both really nice..

  13. Posted by:panda666 on June 30, 2009 at 8:20 pm

hope the blue is as dark as in the pic

  14. Posted by:robotpanda on June 30, 2009 at 8:09 pm

Not saying it’s a badlooking shoe but agree; drop the hype and packaging of the limited edition releases, and these really aren’t anything special.

cant believe so many people are hating. for a quick-strike i thought its nice. great subtle color-way got some 10.5’s, waiting on the yellows to drop. and if you waited in line for some stupid long time for the 250’s$ then thats your fault, you should have known about the general release.

will there be any more left for me tommorow morning? D=

    Heat is Heat.

SB is starting to suck hard, saving my money up for those Jordan true blues

  19. Posted by:fuckhaters on June 30, 2009 at 4:54 pm

Atlas steady kills shit. These shoes are HARD.

  20. Posted by:ifred214 on June 30, 2009 at 4:31 pm

Beyond boring. The lining is the only thing to recommend them and no one sees it. Nike needs to step up in the SB dunks department or give it up. The Blazers are the only thing worthwhile coming out of SB right now.

  23. Posted by:Seanymac on June 30, 2009 at 2:20 pm

    a must cop for me…

  24. Posted by:DAVIDLEE on June 30, 2009 at 2:10 pm

    i knew it
the concepts release wasnt worth the wait or the cash
these look nice and anybody can buy neon laces and strap them on and say they have the limited release…..the hype is blown up and nike has to come up with something new.
if these were going to be a general release, they shouldnt have come out as an exclusive
these just make the red lobsters look cheap
    when will they learn

  25. Posted by:nicolash07 on June 30, 2009 at 1:46 pm

Anyone know where these will drop in hk?? thanks!!

  26. Posted by:sanch3z on June 30, 2009 at 12:39 pm

Are you serious? All that hype for this? Decent colour way, whack ass shoe. Not even worth it.

  27. Posted by:DP on June 30, 2009 at 12:17 pm

    No Butter lace !?

  28. Posted by:LaCokaAnthony on June 30, 2009 at 12:05 pm

    That lining is so clean.

  29. Posted by:jayboarder on June 30, 2009 at 11:47 am

  30. Posted by:Matt on June 30, 2009 at 11:46 am

Now to sit back and watch the sneaker-geeks cry!

  31. Posted by:Yung Geeza on June 30, 2009 at 11:36 am

How did Nike get so lazy?

  32. Posted by:Kiko on June 30, 2009 at 11:11 am

Sick i cant wait until they get to my town. So that I can beat those motherfuckers up. They look so nice. I want to see them bleed. Metaphorcally speaking of course.

  33. Posted by:Msplawn on June 30, 2009 at 10:47 am

I’ve never even seen these in real life and I’m already sick of seeing them.

  34. Posted by:Will on June 30, 2009 at 10:19 am

for getting so much hype, these kicks are pretty bland

  35. Posted by:Hypez on June 30, 2009 at 5:45 am

How much you get these are your local skateshop for. I got these preordered at Union in LA for 140$ with tax included. I think it was a lil’ overpriced.

  39. Posted by:Steezy on June 30, 2009 at 2:26 am

I can find some sick yellow laces, really want these…my wishlist is sick now

  40. Posted by:E-MAN on June 30, 2009 at 1:54 am

Without the hype these are just some average SB’s.

  41. Posted by:Kev-O on June 30, 2009 at 1:11 am

not as cool at the first ones

  42. Posted by:Jonas on June 30, 2009 at 1:11 am

    It’s not a general release. It’s a quickstrike.

  43. Posted by:limitedID on June 30, 2009 at 12:56 am

That kind of dumps on the people who paid for the pack accessories. I mean, waiting in line for sneaks is a great experience, but nobody likes to shell out dough only to see them go general release 1 week later.

the cruise was ill though; apart from the $7.50 house vodka drinks…shameful. Sorry to harp about the dollar, its just money.
