These dudes kind of went “overboard” no pun intended. That 10 minute CNN style infomercial made me feel bad for them. At the end of the day am I buying cool shoes or am I buying a flash in the pan product that I can brag about for 2 weeks until the newest flash in the pan product comes out? Remember the Coralines?

Very nice marketing, packaging and concept (pun deliberately intended). This entire campaign gets an A+ for doing it’s job which is to generate hype surrounding the product. The $250.00 price tag for the shoes, deck and tee is fair in my book. Seperates the have from the have nots. Everyone can’t drive Ferrari’s and eat caviar. Get a better job if $250.00 for all of that is hurting your pockets, or simply move on. I don’t hear anyone complaining about the $200,000 price tag on a Lambo. Stick with your Altima and keep it moving.

again, sweet concept/packaging/design, but all hype aside the kicks themselves are just ok. not sure i think $250 is justified by a styrofoam container?

  56. Posted by: dosu on June 17, 2009 at 12:38 am

verrrrrrry cool. execpt for the foam container, should of been hard plastic

  57. Posted by: clive pike on June 17, 2009 at 12:16 am

The fact that it’s yet another Dunk colorway is a total snoozer, but the styrofoam packaging is really good.

Mad hype for no reason. -_-

    Fuck raffles.

  59. Posted by: Anthony on June 17, 2009 at 12:10 am
