Coming on the heels of a slew of new electronic updates in recent days, Blackberry has announced their newest addition to the family, the Tour 9630. The phone functions as a suitable world phone candidate with quick 3G connectivity, a 3.2MP camera, GPS/Blackberry Maps and better multimedia functions which go hand-in-hand with a clear, well-lit display and slimmer profile. The phone will debut later this summer through select carriers.

    Think of Blackberry Tour as the Storm with the 8900 screen (smaller than the Bold but higher resolution), and the Bold keyboard (slightly shrunk to fit the phone size) and some minor cosmetic changes. From the videos we have seen the bask of the inside looks exactly the same as the Storm.

    Sprint and Palm did a great job getting the words out there on the palm pre, verizon and rim needs to step up and spend some money on advertising this blackberry tour, what you guys think?

    damn… this is the sexiest phone from Bberry. Impatiently waiting to upgrade my Pearl for the Tour when it comes to Bell which is supposed to be in July. No wifi is not a big deal for me with unlimited data plan unless im missing something.

    @uhhisabuster tmobile has the curve 8900. this phone is more of a bold mixed with a curve.
    verizon users should be getting it in mid july followed by sprint.

    smh…another cdma Blackberry, when are they going to officially announce another new GSM one? like the onyx? should be here by the end of summer but still no official announcement…
    @uhhisabuster: are you thinking about the Blackberry 8900 from t-mobile? it looks the same but that one does not have 3G

    The one T-mobile has is the Curve 8900, this is the Tour 9630 very similiar in looks but the Tour is way better!

    looks like the nokia e72 design but perfer the bold or storm!
