Air Jordan VI “Infrared” 2010 Retro

To kick off the new year in 2010, Air Jordan will release one of its most sought after models of all time, the Air Jordan VI Infrared. The weapon of choice as Jordan and the Bulls captured MJ’s first of many championship titiles, the shoe’s only previous retro was in 2000. With the January, 2010 release date comes a suggested retail price of $150 USD.

if your a real nike head you will hunt down the 2000’s just like NCe says… i just cant believe how different these are?!?! so dissapointed (although i own 2 pairs of 2000’s.) for everyone else tho—- these have a white, not clear outsole- cant figure that one out, no nike air logo on the back, wrong colour red and different materials used in the upper… where is the attention to detail? now i gotta deal with all you twits and your brand new main stream half assed 6’s, thinkin your ol scool. use your 150 a little wiser and put it towards some 2000’s. the REAL infrareds. i am DEFINATELY skipping these. good work Air Jordan, your fuckin up your own product- dont even get me started on fusions either…

I would like to ask Mr. Humphrey personally if it is going to bring Nike/Jordan Brand to total financial ruin if they didn’t COMPLETELY CHEAP OUT on the materials used on the retro releases. If these truly are remakes of your flagship shoe why ruin it by producing the bullsh!t they have been releasing lately. Stay true to the original. If you are going to charge us more for the same shoes then make what want. Add the original colors, materials and logo. Then you would get the money people spend on ebay or at the local bootleg spot.

Looks like Jordan Brand bought that cheap ashy suede they used for the CDP’s in bulk. These aren’t even infrared….they are VARSITY red and YES it makes a difference.
very cheap…..there’s no point in rereleasing all these classics if they are going to kill it with cheap materials…black air unit..? but everybody should have know, this is the future of JB. really needed to see this to finalize it…

these are not infrared 6’s they are just red 6’s.
why is everyone so shocked that the material is cheap? thats what nike AND jordan brand do now. the shoe gets bought either way. but then again, with aging an old pair is more likely to crack or just fall apart…pick your poison…maybe if sneaker heads all got smart and started complaining, repeatedly if need be, and maybe even stop buying shoes (i cant do it either lol) they would listen…

personally i prefer da og’s jus bc the changes they made does not match up wit the original lik da suede on these look lik a much cheaper material used then on da originals its jus annoying to see how much da jordan brand had fell since dem good ol days smh wit all these releases of fusions or stupid mix-ups and let alone using cheaper material then wut they use to use. all i gotta say is dat this is a major disappointment for one of the pair kicks ive been tryin to get my hands on.

These arent quite infrareds because there are some small changes in color in certain places. But these are good enough for me.
