Paying tribute to some of the most recognizable cities in the US, Vans works up a City Pack for the Fall 2009 season. Included within the collection with be a San Francisco edition paying tribute to The Embarcadero, Chicago set featuring a Shedd Aquarium theme, New York pack commemorating the Astor Place, and rounding off the batch are two models paying tribute to Los Angeles’ Lockwood Elementary. Each version will boast two iconic Vans models resembling colorways closely associated with each city including the Era, SK8-Hi, Half Cab, and Old Skool.

    Who came up with Lockwood elementary? That is my old romp!!!! The color must be after the lockwood dolphins. When and where are these dropping? ( :O )>

    I used to ride at embarcadero at 97 and ooppss, i have ma orange Vans form the old era almost brand new ;) great memories of SF

    kinda boring. i saw this in the catalog a few months back and really thought they could have done something with this concept….not so much. vans still comes correct with some other projects though. just waiting for some good ones.
