Integral players in New York’s skate landscape and founders of the brand UXA, the trio of Peter Huynh, Jefferson Pang and Peter Bici put their minds together for the release of their DC Shoes Ryan Smith 2.0S shoe titled, “The Big Apple”. The shoe’s colorway is based off of their philosophy of form meets function and their inspirations of the skating lifestyle in The Big Apple. From a performance standpoint, the shoe features a Super Suede upper, perforated upper panel, foam-padded tongue and collar and a Performance Rubber Wrap Cup for a combination cupsole performance and vulcanized sole board feel.

  1. [...] DC Shoes is a shoe company for the skaters. That’s why it teamed up with brand UXA to create the Ryan Smith 2.0S “Big Apple.” The “Big Apple” features a red/green/black colorway on an all-suede upper to add some style to the skate shoe. An apple emblem is stitched on the side back heel which is adjacent to the UXA logo on the back heel. The logo is also stitched under the DC logo on the tongue in red. The shoe uses a vulcanized sole and rubber wrap cup for ultimate skateability. Via hb. [...]

It’s pretty hard to be totally origional in the skate shoe game. the colorway may make you go blind, but this shoe looks better than those gravis Dylan Rieder shoes, or those TK high top things.
