This latest installment from Mountain Dew’s Green Label Sound series highlights the progressive sounds of U-N-I. This hip hop duo made up of west coast MC’s Thurz & Y-O, both hail from a coast known musically for it’s hardcore Hip Hop. While some may feel anything outside this motif in west coast would be irrelevant, U-N-I takes a different approach to traditional west coast Hip Hop. Their music stems primarily from everyday life situations as most would relate to and their sound is a formula like nothing out there today.
