Nike Sportswear 2009 Holiday Preview

An early look into what’s up on deck for 2009 holiday as we take a look at some highlights which include iconic colorways making their way onto new models. The use of red and turquoise is something that has often been associated with Dutch artist Parra but little is known regarding an Air Max seen here and whether this is an official collabo, inspiration or just a coincidence. Other shoes with definite references to past drops include the HUF/DQM Air Max 90 seen now on a boot-like Air Max 90 Flywire style. Other notables are an Air Trainer 1 Chlorophyll colorway complete with forefoot strap. This whole collection is slated for a 2009 holiday release.

    The AM1s in the main pic are a official collab with Parra. There is also one with Carri Cassette Playa in a London Vs Amsterdam thing…they come with Varsity jackets and tees.

    to Elan Rodman – they are re-releasing the best Nike collabs of the 90s hence the rerelease of the bacon and hufquake. DQM vs HUF as they are all pals – there is also a NYC Vs LA featuring Clark Kent shoes vs Eddie Cruz….both of those are AF1s, the Cruz ones are a particularly nasty purple yellow (Lakers) croc skin…

    i am a little annoyed that nike i making a shoe this looks almost exactly like the hufquake air max 90, its upsetting because it just makes the shoe not feel like it doesnt have any intrinsic value outside of being a product of consumption

    huf made the shoe to commemorate the San Franssico big earthquake of the early 1900′s. So the shoe actually had a background.
    Stop making everything into hybrids, you guys didn’t run out of ideas overnight, just keep making the classic models and once a full blue moon special release

    its upsetting, not everyone should have something that was exclusive

    I think all of these are good looking kicks. Thos Bo Jackson trainer hybrids are dope! Para Air Max 1′s are dope so are the HUF And DQM Hybrids. I might actually buy some Nike again.

    only the flywire 1′s are dope to me…the blazers are bland…and huarache’s shouldn’t be merged with am90′s…and the colorways on those hybrids suck too.
