OK I don’t want to seem patronising but I’ve been watching skate movies for upwards of 10 years, and I have to say in my experience that these stunts tend to be about half fake and half real. obviously the jumping into the car was staged, and they often do similar things like this just for the fun of it, not trying to trick anyone. when he smashed the car window, that would most likely turn out to be HIS car or something like that but they cut it that way to look like it was someone else’s. the fight with the old guy was probably real.
On the other hand, I skate every day and I don’t think this is an inaccurate depiction of what tends to happen. And if Nike SB are keeping it FTW then I think that’s awesome. Too many core skaters slate Nike for jumping on the bandwagon but if this is real then I guess it shows that they’re keeping it real anyway.

Tons of you need to watch some skate videos if you think some of these shenanigans are extreme. This video seems like Nike is embracing the skate world a little more again. The whole SB thing has been slipping away pretty fast recently. For those of you who were into SB before the hype you might remember when dunk sb’s were clean colorways in beefed up skateable materials. I miss those days.
