Nike Basketball continues their development of hybrid classics with a new pair of kicks, dubbed the Alpholution. This latest rendering features a take on the timeless Alpha Force sneaker, made popular by the Chuckster aka Charles Barkley in the late 80s. The kicks implement a familiar color scheme with the usage of a black/white backdrop accented with teal and a hint of orange. A release is slated for July 1st, with a load of other Fall 2009 colorways in the works.

    Um… hmmm I believe the outsole is the reference to what the upper is sitting on?
    yeaaaa…. did you get the memo? haha come on now dude. Now if this is a 2 piece rubber/phylon combo then the MIDSOLE would not be visible since that sits within the OUTSOLE.

    i like that outsole.
    not really feeling the toe quarter panel, looks a bit “air stab-esque.” I feel it would look better had they made the window of that piece the same white action leather instead of the tor mesh. It looks fine on the quarter panel accenting the swoosh.
