I take back what I said about the Los Angeles Hipster scene being wack. 80% of the scene sucks. I feel like the opening minute of the song sets you up for something great, but then Aoki sort of drags you through this coked out drum beat that clearly falls short of N.A.S.A.’s original track with west. Only up until the final minute of the song when Li’s chorus is washed out and slowly creeps in does the song seem to actually be satisfying, and then it sort of falls off again when Santogold hops on the track. Not particularly impressive for a remix… I think if a group like LA Riots, Justice or MSTRKRFT remixed this song it would have possibly been a helluvalot better. Steve Aoki though? Homeboy just needs to stick to promoting parties in Hollywood… On a side note, you spelled Lykke Li wrong… Only one “i…”
