As the showdown between Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao and Britain’s Ricky Hatton narrows down, we catch a closer look into the special sneaker design between Pacquiao and endorser Nike. The shoes follow an obvious trainer aesthetic, featuring Nike’s innovative Flywire technology combined with a Free Sole and traditional air cushioning unit. A release for the kicks is slated for tomorrow May 2nd, the same day as the fight, at West Coast retailers including UNDFTD, Fatlace, Niketown SF and Las Vegas.

    i’m glad these were a sf & lv exclusive here in the US, though i thought these should’ve released a different day b/c in my opinion the yeezy was overshadowing it, but hey why am I complaining I got my pair and manny won

    Just copped em over here in the Philippines after 18 hours of camping out. I think they dropped 49 pairs today with limited edition shirts and jackets as well.

    Pacquiao is the man. I’ve been camping at Niketown SF since Monday and was worth every minute. I’m not even filipino but I was on TFC. Wawaweee!!

    yup tomorrow night the pacman gets new kicks from Nike and lays a beating on ricky hatton. Love the kicks. jacket has few too many patches, but if the it’s just for his camp well it’s pretty dope. Love what Nike has done for the best pound for pound fighter there is. And yes that includes money maywaether. He’s to afraid to step in the ring with him. Just uses the my retired thing, but yet he’s training for mma. Not gonna hate on that though he might do pretty good with it, that’s if he does try and fight mma
