Releasing alongside the Supreme project involving British punk pioneer Malcolm McLaren which features a collection of apparel comes a three-piece footwear collection with Vans on the relatively lesser known V-79 model. The collection involves some bright colors on a simple Vans profile. The shoes include some strong details including a printed insole and markings on the tongue. The shoes will release in-store and online on Thursday, May 21st in the US and on May 23rd in Japan.

    The colors on the Vans are fine. This is stuff by Malcolm McLaren we’re talking about. Dude has been in the game since punk rock was actually somewhat dangerous and threatening. His stuff is not meant to fall into the whole boring is good/”more subtlety please” box that so many products are aiming for these days. Good collab overall.

    Great shoe, the black tongue with the white rubber toe cap is sweet – not into the colors though.
