With the previews of the Hypebeast | Solebox x adidas “The Complete Ride” Zeitfrei behind us, here’s the final piece to the project which ties together the whole Zeitfrei concept as Bianchi participates with two special offerings. Both bikes are inspired by their respective sneaker colorways as well as taking different routes in execution. The Solebox version based on the Bianchi CroMo steel Pista (which resembles the company’s 2010 flathandle Pista offering) is of a more timeless nature while the Hypebeast version is based on the Pista butted Aluminum frame and features modern and contemporary design with a more performance driven aesthetic. Following the completion of “The Complete Ride” project, they will be showcased through various Bianchi mediums before ultimately being auctioned off for charity.

Bianchi has a long history of making beautiful bicycles, but these two are absolutely horrible. I suspect thats hypebeast’s fault, so shame on you for getting Bianchi into this. What were you thinking?

Being seen in public on a Hypebeast bike would be ALMOST as bad as being seen on the Obey bike… and thats pretty fucking bad.

I think less branding, and more about the bikes themselves.
Th adidas marcioni frame is nice HZA, but it has horrible components.

Funny Adidas needs to feel like they have to do ANOTHER bike, esp since they one they did w/ Marinoni was x100 tighter

I’m not so mad @ these, but a three way collabo that’s hella branded?? Could have been subtler with the branding. All good. Wish they showed/chatted the actual parts instead of shooting all the labels.

    ha ha ha ha ha

damn! if i don’t do some serious soul-searching about my “colorways” ASAP, i”m gonna be culturally obsolete in no time!!

Wow, hey remember back in the day when unrelated companies didn’t advertise on bikes? Yeah…

In the automotive world were I come from we use the term fixed to describe a gear that is always in motion not like the freestyles. So I do agree with the term “fixies” And these bikes are sexy. I have a Bianchi too.

  7. Posted by: Dan on May 19, 2009 at 2:45 pm

Jeez, these are just bikes. Stop trying to get on the fixed gear band wagon.

  13. Posted by: Citizen on May 14, 2009 at 1:10 pm

Can someone please explain how these differ from the regular Bianchi Pista? Are these not Pista’s in different colors? What’s so special about that?

  28. Posted by: mk on May 13, 2009 at 4:17 am

look more like a road bike, not a track geometry

  29. Posted by: aso2004 on May 13, 2009 at 2:04 am

Hmmm, not the best bikes I have seen lately..
Not dumbing down the 3(!!!) other colaborants but I would have expected something better from my fave bike brand.
Having one with gears and a brake won’t hurt, I am riding a cameleonate at the moment and with te multispeed hub it’s a killer…

  30. Posted by: hot on May 13, 2009 at 12:12 am

These bikes are looking hot, hot, HOT! I want the white one! No, I need it!

  31. Posted by: Ty on May 12, 2009 at 11:11 pm

Those bikes are nice, But I am so NOT down with the single speed Trend. I mean if I wanted that I’d just get a BMX Street bike and call it a day. By the By, I Sure wish these guys would just skip the known brands for smaller companies, In this case I’d suggest MOOTS, Boy those titanium bikes look sexy!

  32. Posted by: mikk on May 12, 2009 at 10:47 pm

sure tops off my chrome bianchi pista

  33. Posted by: squirrel on May 12, 2009 at 9:42 pm

ugh. they need make lugged frames and the nig was a perfect opportunity. it looks good but a lugged frame would top it the fuck off.

  46. Posted by: oh on May 12, 2009 at 4:26 pm

good thing they aren’t being mass produced.

it’s good to see hypebeast still jumps on every trend instead of setting them.
