Japanese MMA fighter Kid Yamamoto recently made a comeback with his first fight in sometime, a few days back. To commemorate the event, a few of the top brands in the industry worked up a special fight tee. Included amongst the crowd were Crooks & Castles, KICKS/HI, and KillerBEE. Matt George also give us a look into the fight, with some excellent photos.

actually, i think this was just more of a sponsored shirt. that’s usually how fight shirts work, they’re covered in logos, so the fighter’s sponsors can get their money’s worth, and these aren’t the fight shirts that everyone is used to, e.g. “affliction”, “one more round”, etc. these are more the japanese style fight shirts. look up brands like inspirit, fokai, rvddw. not to mention kid is one of the top featherweights in the world, he was just shaking off so ring rust. but kid is a beast, just google his name, and you’ll find some sick highlight reels.

seems like no one really takes the time to do real artwork for tees… crooks and castle same ole’letters,a logo there a logo here doesnt make it a shirt collab.one emails their logo, the other emails their logo and someone puts it together doesnt make it a collab…this is a bullshit tshirt…..

Its funny when shit is fashionable until a hypebeast brand does something.

Like you know when wack artists wear fubu its wack but then when they pick up a diamond or 10 deep shirt all of a sudden there the shit.

Dude lost this fight hahaha. Seriously its just a shirt thats got cut and paste logos like someone stated. No biggie really worthy of its post on here?

    Hypebeast your slippin.

So what did all these top brands “work up”? Copy and Paste their logos onto the back of a shirt? Can’t really see what’s on the front of the shirt, but did it take three brands to make this? Just wondering why this deserved its own post…
