As the only accredited university-level sneaker class out there, Sneakerology 101 and Carnegie Mellon University present one of the culture’s living legends in Bobbito Garcia to speak on April 6th, 2009. The lecture looks to speak about the undeniable impact sneakers have had in the cultural landscape emanating from Hip-Hop and sports as it eventually became the pop icon it is now. Bobbito Garcia’s “Where’d You Get Those?” serves as Sneakerology 101’s official textbook. The hour long lecture is open to the public and starts at 4:00 pm, April 6th at the McConomy Auditorium.
