Takashi Murakami moves himself away from his typical bright and bold styles which include a certain cartoon element as he previews his upcoming inochi exhibition. inochi is based on a 2002 movie by Shinohara Tetsuo with Murakami creating five different dolls for the exhibition which begins on Friday, April 3rd at the Kaikai Kiki Gallery.
