Stussy 2009 April Feature: Dondi White

Stussy carries on with their artist features segment for April, featuring the art of late graffiti pioneer, Dondi White. Coinciding with their feature is a dose of collaborative product featuring Dondi zine “Sketches from 1983-85″. A Stussy x Dondi White tee shirt series will be released at Stussy Chapter stores around the globe on Saturday, May 2nd, while a heartfelt piece by Dante Ross can be read in its entirety here.
yea andy that was an ignorant comment….people dont need an all over dondi print to give him credit, i feel this is more tuned in to his artistic side rather than street art. and its mad clean i feel like they did him justice with this series.
How are they not giving him credit, particularly when most people don’t even know who he is?

Not feel’n the tees much (except one) seems to easy to scan his prints and pop them on a t-shirt ,doesn’t give him much credit as a major graffiti legend.
dondi white wrote the book on urban art before sheperd fairey was weaned!! ya!
