SkullnBones x adidas Consortium 3-Way Project Interviews

Following up on the horribly shot and vomit-inducing interview from massively popular and well-known Hong Kong sneaker blog Skull and Bones 01, here’s a look into some more videos Kenneth and the crew have dropped. Their quest for adidas Consortium 3-Way information takes them across North America as they hit up San Francisco’s HUF and Toronto’s GDFT. Appearances include Keith Hufnagel and Fraser Avey being relatively patient with Kenneth’s persistent questioning. Look for more updates along the way, as Skull and Bones 01 is the Real Deal.

    That guy at goodfoot is a douche, what an idiot. The guy came all the way just to ask questions, and he was very sincere about the whole thing. The least he could of done is answer some questions, he didnt have to show any samples.

    I’m guessing this is a adidas campaign. what kind of low level blog flys to 3 seperate cities. LA, SF and Toronto which is on the complete other coast.
    Anyways I thought they were hilarious, I like the HUF one the best, or when he’s secretly showing the camera the G’ shoe ….hahhhaa

    And as for the undftd video – if you follow ‘sneaker culture’ for want of a better wank phrase you’ll appreciate that the video with James Bond and Eddie Cruz was a pretty big deal. Skulln Bones guy was nervous but understandably so. James Bond is a legend and notoriously difficult to pin down.

    Full marks for his doggedness – bit OTT at times but he got to see the Nizza sample at GF and all in all left me wanting to know more about the project. If adidas aren’t paying him they should be!!

    I can tell this guy is genuine about knowing more about thiis sneaker culture but its obvious he doesn’t know alot nor does it strike me he’s done enough research. He ends up being irritatingly intrusive in the way he conducts these ‘ambush’ interviews and asks the most awkward and interrogative questions. I applaud his manhood and guts or even the audacity to stomp into people’s stores and start firing off questions profusely with this uncontrollable eagerness as if he’s dying to piss or something.

    It’s so obvious with each encounter that no one takes him seriously, not when he’s talking like Robocop Murphy.
