A massive community of friends and friends mourn the recent passing of esteemed photographer Shawn Mortensen. Over the years, the man has captivated a huge audience with his ability to capture up and coming artists as well as personalities in their most natural states. Throughout fashion, music and popular culture, a quick look over his work reveals some huge characters which undoubtedly goes hand in hand with Mortensen’s own talent. A quick surf around the net and you’ll already have seen the massive support shown for a man who’s influence has widespread and lasting.

    I met Shawn at Meltdown Comics when he was doing his sumo size poster exhibit and book signing, a man with a spirit like that will surely be missed. Rest in piece oh great one. Much Love. SD

    i am so deeply saddened that my friend is gone. i just sent him pics of my girls and could not wait for them to meet one of the sweetest most sincere men i knew.
