Originally hinted at a few days ago, NIGO pops the top off of his latest and greatest toy, an iconic Mercedes Benz SL300 Gullwing with a transplanted AMG 6.0L V8 engine. Enthusiasts alike will probably already feel that the modernized powerplant is in itself sacrilegious but Nigo goes one-step further with the trademark Bape camo. The car is set to make a debut at tonight’s Bape Hong Kong 3 Year Anniversary Party.

BTW it’s not a paint job, just vinyl stickers and can be removed but do expect to get blisters on your fingers…

yes there is a recession. and yes nigo dropped an insane amount of money on this car. however, he paid the designers, the craftsmen, the builders, the painters, the detailers and will pay to have this car stored and displayed. and guess what? it is paying for people to live and pay their bills.

I dont know what to think of this Benz? Cause damn that camo colorway is ugly! I feel he shouldve kept the original gray as the base color and done the Bape pattern with white lines. Plus I dont know but something tells me that this isnt a paint job?? I think they shrink wrapped this whipp, Like they do to public busses. But he definitely got peoples true reactions out of them with this ride. lol

This car is a classic. I really like the bape print on it too! Bape is classic and made what streetwear is today. I admire this man and his clothing, but the green doesn’t suit this car. It would’ve been sick if he kept the color scheme a little more subtle. Perhaps shades of Grey with white. Now that would’ve been SICK!

Relax. It’s not paint. it’s a vinyl peel coat done over the original silver paint. you can tell by the satin finish. nice job though.
What was Nigo thinking? The Veyron was kinda cool, but this is a classic car, you don’t screen print anything, no matter what it is, on to it. I was very dissapointed with this one, I though he would of left it the classic silver and maybe did something with the intrior. that would of been dope as fuck, but not this.

I doubt AMG did this build, Im guessing THE SPS logo’s have something to do with whoever build this 300sl (just a guess)… First I would like to say I am a car enthusiast and Im all for pushing the limits and being different. Im all about the arts and bringing emotions out of people which Nigo successfully has done by the look of this thread. But you also have to be respectful and smart, and this build is neither those 2! This car is a abomination (like throwing a boob job and lip job on Jessica Alba or Scarlett Johansson). I cant even start to say how this sucks… the engine swap is cool if u have 3 gullwings (each $500,000+) laying around which I highly doubt nigo does. The paint job convinced me this guy is just a blood sucker of all the idiots that wait in line to drop $350 for a pair of yellow, brown and pink patent leather af1 knockoffs… this is why are economy is shit because of all the dumb asses
