its not a bad track even with the bad accent, but i dont think the “japanese cartoon” tip is necessary. lupe is in danger of playing a whole pop culture out.

lupe if youre so gotdamn real why do you have to play on gimmicks

The thing is its not Lupe.. Its some guy from the UK called Percival Fats. If it was lupe, he wouldnt be able to “change” accent so fast.. This guy has same flow & voice as lupe, but accent, no..

God awful. An Americans take on a British accent in an attempt to be relevant and avant garde. This effort is only slightly better than Dick Van Dykes in Mary Poppins and that aint saying much!! I’d rather listen to Austin Powers over some jungle beats than this $HiT.

I prefer the simple things executed beautifully perfect than off the wall ish executed to be different.

Pass. Can file this in the same category as 808’s. All the 15 y olds can have it.

Japanese Cartoon, themselves, claimed it isn’t Lupe on vocals, but it sure as hell sounds like him… fuck I’m confused.

Tis Lupe or not Lupe…? That is the question.

YESSS!!!! Thank you Lupe! Keep showing these “artists” that true artistry is shown thru truth & action, not simply because you declare yourself one. GO LU’!

the drummer (who is not on this track, of course) is the drummer from hey champ. they are on lupe’s label, 1st and 15th, and you’ve probably seen lupe rockin their tshirts.
