Def going to miss the #2 but its nice that this one isn’t so puffed out. I’m sure this newsprint and red colorway will look better in person like it did with the 2′s. Maybe they’ll throw in the speckled laces again.

It does look reminiscent of the acg wildwoods mixed with a little generic nike 6.0 “un-flare”. These are not doing it for me, the prod II’s were far nicer in my opinion.

Not diggin the looks of this shoe, hopefully it skates well. I’m def a fan of the thinner tongue. I love skating my Era’s, but they fall apart after like 2 days :(

i agree with the fat tongues, if you merk through your laces the fat tongue/elastic strap combo still works pretty good to hold your foot in, the colors are really hurt on these, and the thick heel looks like it would be good for cushioning but terrible for board feel. skate shoes need to be simple, sure some technology is a good thing (more durable textiles, heavy duty stitching, better insoles, etc…) but these have way too much going on (5 different colors, cmon now) K.I.S.S.

Overall I think the design language is there, the technology is definitely there, brand new zoom air outsole specifically made for Paul’s foot was used. I believe they’ve improved the exsisting midfoot shank in the outsole. My only complaint about this shoe is the quater panels… The lines just don’t seem to mesh well, it appears jumbled, and no fluidity.. Also, the toe box is looking a bit weird to me. Paul must have big toes or something if they made the last mold off of his foot.

Nice, But missing the fire of the last models. It seems that SB is trying to cycle back to the thin tongue. They will be ahead of the trend and it will be nice for skaters, but I am not sold on this model yet. Maybe the other colorways will convince me one way or the other.
