merci beaucoup 2009 fall winter 1 mercibeaucoup 2009 Fall/Winter Collection

With the economic climate having a strong effect on the outlook of fashion design, Japanese brand mercibeaucoup seems to have either completely missed out on the memo or chosen to continue on a very much one-of-a-kind aesthetic with their 2009-2010 fall/winter collection. Featuring both male and female outfits, the brand’s use of a butterfly theme is quite literal as we see some wild looks and outfits. However to the brand’s credit, there are some more subtle pieces in the collection as well as some interesting fur-based footwear offerings. Check a full look of the collection below.

i actually think it’s a very wearable collection…in JAPAN that is.
well maybe in north america if you don’t mind being stared at.
tons of well formed pieces, the fourth image with the black and white stripes and that weird blue thing with the eyes on the hood..
very cool individual pieces maybe when put together it seems kinda messy
but i think a really stylish person can pull it off and everyone will want it then not look as cool …lol

only in japan i guess..(for now)

Wow, this stuff is absolutely awesome! …… and it’s obviously not ready-to-wear so you can’t judge it like that
