Multiple Tour de France winner and cancer survivor Lance Armstrong recently presented a special version of his TREK Madone, customized by familiar artist KAWS. Unveiled at Nike’s Montalban Theater, the bike features KAWS’ signature “chomper” teeth pattern which is applied on the bike frame and bike rims. Lance will be utilizing this bike at the upcoming Milan-San Remo Cycle Race which is held in Italy every year. The bike also marks the beginning of the “Stages” art campaign which was launched in association with the LIVESTRONG foundation’s fight against cancer.

considering the wheels on this bike alone are worth more then $2000US, $4500 would be a great deal. MSRP is 9129 US according to the trek website… of course that is without the Kaws paint and most likely a prototype frame because Lance only has the best!

That bike is hideous. There is a reason why there are bicycle designers…

Ummm… I don’t like it. Too busy, it’d look a lot better without the yellow.

Oooooooohhh! Did I just go there? – Yep, I totally did.

I’m gonna go eat a baguette with my french homie and talk about mustaches, berets and surrendering from international conflicts.

nicolasfromparissoexcusemyenglish – how about all the other french riders who doped and got caught, Richard Verenque, Phillippe Gaumont for 10 years? Come on now. Just because the Americans have dominated your race don’t talk shit. I hated racing in France cause I was spat at for beating your so called world class junior sprinters.

But on a fashion related note, KAWS is getting it’s fingers in all aspects of life, its amazing.

Dag, KAWS is raking in the cheddar lately… doing all these crazy projects for other people. Makes you wonder who he’s got on his walls at home.

French people are just salty that they can’t win their own race.

the normal version with no kaws is probably $4,500 of lightweight carbon

once you are able to actually show he has doped, stop complaining about him owning on the tour. his physiological capabilities are off the charts and trains ridiculously hard to have some dumb french kid talk bad about him because their riders can’t even win a tour in their own country.
