With so many companies now entering a more earth-friendly approach towards sneaker manufacturing, Keds joins the show with the introduction of their Green Label. Various features included within the project include: friendly organic cotton, non-toxic inks and dyes, nickel-free eyelets, ISO-9001 certified factory and recycled insoles amongst others. The sneakers will become available April 16th, 2009 via Schuh UK.

    Keds has 50yrs with their styles so OBVIOUSLY Vans copied Keds design and called them “authentics”

    keds are much older then vans. I am pretty sure keds was the first company to have rubber soled shoes in the US, and this is one of their classic designs. Vans copied it long ago.
