We caught wind of this project some months back but now we get a look at the final product between Hella Jongerius for Maharam and Nike. Utilizing the classic Air Force 1, Hella Jongerius gives the limited edition sneaker a layered look featuring intricate embroidery done up in Maharam textiles. A release is scheduled for next week with a special launch event planned at Moss on April 1st, 2009.

    Cant judge by the photo. I got a pair. The photo does the kicks no justice. Everything, the design, layers of felt, stitching, and colors all come together to become delicious eye candy.
