CNN recently showcased a documentary on Vogue Paris Editor in Chief Carine Roitfeld. The three part video captures her importance in the Parisian fashion scene as well as her influence in the International scene. The documentary follows Roitfeld to various important fashion events with commentary by some of the industry’s more important personalities. Check it out!
As I watch this & look at the buyers & editors of these fashion magazines over the fashion weeks, I become really aggravated. It’s time for all these dinosaurs to be cleaned out & time for a new generation to come in to show what style & fashion means RIGHT NOW. No disrespect, because I realize that they’ve worked hard, but it’s time for a new perspective. Been overdue. Vogue hasn’t been at the forefront of fashion since Halston was alive, fo real!
