The theme of re-applying various themes in its literal context on footwear is nothing new. From the recent fruit/watermelon inspired joints to other odd-ball themes, Vans Vault manages to keep it classy with their upcoming interpretation of the peacoat on the Chukka Boot. The wool upper is an obvious reference to the melton wools seen on peacoats while the use of the button highlight reinforces the shoe’s reference to that trusty winter staple.
