In recent memory, two of the MLB’s most popular players returned to their own stomping grounds which included the likes of Jason Giambi back to the Oakland Athletics and Ken Griffey Jr. linking up with Ichiro Suzuki in Seattle. As a dominating left-handed hitter, Griffey is by no-means the same player which earned him multiple nods in the Seattle uniform over an illustrious 11-year career with the Mariners but should provide some support in the line-up in addition to being a fan-favorite.
