Staying true to the original design ethos of Nike, Nike Sportswear remixed an icon with a distinct focus on innovation this Spring/Summer season. Specially made for the female consumer, the “Skinny” Dunk is Nike Sportswear’s offer for the female who loves authenticity that fits with her wardrobe. For this particular collection, Nike Sportswear hooked up with legendary French textile designers Paule Marrot Editions. Once loved by the British royal family and Jackie Kennedy, Paule Marrot Editions has been creating memorable designs since 1920. Various Paule Marrot’s textiles including the “Aurore” with Butterflies and Feathers and the “Les Cerises” prints are draped over two colorways in all-over prints of Cherries on the shoes for Summer 2009.
