“We come to hypbe beast so see what is new and dope not to see who you obviously have a personal relationship with ” are you for really? J Dilla is a legend, man. I can understand why he’s not exactly Hypebeast material, but seriously, you need to get your facts straight before saying shit like that.

And the people who think this is a knockoff/unofficial or whatever, this is a Stones Throw product. I.e., Dilla’s label.

    God damn.

It is for a good cause, Dilla is a legend…it is for a mother who lost her child. I would buy it to support if it was a piece of dog shit; it just so happens that its a dope collab and we will have it in our store by the end of the week. props to good people!

I don’t see the big deal. You are all acting like a bunch of pussies about a t-shirt. Chill the fuck out. If you don’t like what Hype is posting stop comin to the damn site. Shit. People come here to check shit out, not cry about shit. Grow Up!

cliff skigh….i mean my favorite blogger’s favorite blogger(and my personal favorite blog) is right. but that’s the shit you get used to when you from detroit. for anybody that don’t know, the leroy jenkins watch and the tee’s were extra nice. this shirt is nice too but it seems that unless they got some familar co-sign that folks are used to dick riding on any way it get’s no recognition/attention. but enough of the negativity. if you love j dilla’s work(and seriously what intelligent human being doesn’t, i turned my grandmom’s onto his shit), go out and support the dude’s mom and buy the shirt.

I’m pretty sure the way it works is HB receives pictures from different companies. I doubt they do a lot of seeking out for photos to post. They probably get paid for certain things too.

So terrible honestly hype beast start showcasing tees or even brands that are hot reguardless of who did them…. We come to hypbe beast so see what is new and dope not to see who you obviously have a personal relationship with . The guy who commented before me is right this is a perfect example…..if i see next a tee on your site that reads ” whoop there it is” featured i might have to stop looking to ya to see what is considered cool , this is clearly corny great cause but sill corny r.i.p j dilla

Maybe because it’s not official and is the exact reason why Ma Dukes needs money? I don’t know who any of those brands/people are, but it sounds like someone trying to make money off of Dilla’s name.

because it was a lame collab

So you feature this J. Dilla collab, but don’t feature the collab with Dilla and Ghetto Rock x Burn Rubber, Toy Watch x Leroy Jenkins x Burn Rubber, or even the ‘Re: Dilla Project’? SMH @ Hypebeast. If James Bond, Eddie Cruz, Kanye West, and Supreme took a steamy shit on a t-shirt or some flannel, y’all would probably feature it as the dopest apparel ever…
